Emotional Geographies explores the mind as an ever-shifting landscape shaped by memory, fear, imagination, and subconscious thought. The sculpture transforms internal experience into physical form through a continuous staircase structure that twists across the wall - unstable, fragmented, and impossible to fully navigate.
The repeating staircases become metaphors for personal growth, setbacks, ambition, and resilience, reflecting the non-linear nature of emotional and psychological development. Floating and misaligned, they suggest paths not yet taken, unrealised futures, and the uncertainty of becoming.
Blurring the boundary between reality and imagination, the work invites viewers to project their own experiences onto the structure. Each staircase becomes both a destination and a question - a symbol of movement through inner space, where progress is uncertain but transformation remains possible.
